“I have had my machine for a year, and I just opened my store in January 2006. I love my AccuQuilt Studio™ machine. My favorite thing is to show it to people who have made many rag quilts snip by snip. I show them a rag quilt die and my sample of perfect fringe—their knees buckle and they say how much they would love to not have to cut their own fringe. I also use the machine for cutting appliqué bunnies, flowers, bears and letters. I rent the machine by the size of the quilt they are making. I cut the fabric 8 1⁄2" off the bolt and charge for a quarter yard for the service. The machine is incredibly easy to use—nothing could be slicker. I have been very impressed with the friendly people on the phone any time I’ve called Customer Service. Bottom line—it is so much fun!”

“I have had my AccuQuilt machine for at least six years if not longer. It has held up to much abuse over those years cutting for scrapbooking. When we discovered that we could die-cut quilt patterns with the same ease and precision that we cut paper shapes. We have only been into quilting for a year or so, but our die-cutting machine has given the store an edge on our competition. It’s a service they can’t compete with. Quilters will spread the word about fast and easy techniques. It has been a great fabric mover.

I can’t imagine why you wouldn’t use a die-cutting machine in a quilt store. We charge $5 an hour, and let the customer cut up any fabric they choose. Our most popular quilt die has been the 8 1⁄2" square rag quilt block. Sewers of all skill levels discovered that they could cut and fringe in one easy step. We also use it to cut fabric for classes, put into kits and sell, sell, sell! The dies enable us to assemble kits that are precise and with little waste of time or fabric.”

“We rate the AccuQuilt Fabric Cutter a big 10! It is used throughout our shop to aid us in putting kits together for appliqué as well as creating shop signs and gift tags. Now that we have the take-out box die we will create fat quarters sets. We offer our customers a custom cutting service using our rag quilt shapes. They purchase the fabrics here, and we will cut their flannel for $1 per cut, up to eight layers. The service and support we get from AccuQuilt is excellent.”

“I absolutely love my AccuQuilt...I can't imagine not having it now. For years I have used the rotary cutter and spent days upon days cutting out quilts, and strips. I began as a fabric scrap collector, and when I received boxes and boxes of my grandmothers fabric leftovers after she could no longer quilt...it really escalated. I had such a time cutting all the pieces up, my shoulders were always bound up in knots. As my customer base grew, I could not keep up with the demands....I wasn't sure what to do...Last year I purchased a longarm quilting machine and began doing custom quilting...that left even less time for me to do piecing. I was so thrilled when I found the AccuQuilt, as not only it is easier on my body, but I can keep up with the demands by saving SO much time on the cutting process. It doesn't take much time at all for it to pay for itself...The accuracy is amazing, the speed is incredible! It has greatly improved my quilt business. You can easily make your own jelly rolls and charm packs, quilt kits....the sky is the limit with you and your AccuQuilt.”

“I purchased my first machine and dies at the Houston Quilt Market in 2004. Since then it has been so easy to use. The dies give constant good results. Being able to make kits so quickly, the store easily keeps stock on hand and can do custom work in a short turn-around time. Since I also scrapbook and make cards, I use dies for quilting and scrapbooking. I wish that I could have all of them!”

“I’ve been quilting for 20 years, but I was having a hard time rotary cutting because of my wrist. With the AccuQuilt® machine and super strip-cutter dies I can do eight layers, three strips at a time, for a total of 24 strips. Also, I am a part-time nurse and I have a long-arm quilting business, so I don’t have a lot of time to do my own quilting. I need instant results, and I love how easy it is. AccuQuilt makes it possible for me to find the time to quilt.”
